When a mysterious creature uses the child's device to enter our world, the parents must fight to save their son from a real threat. The interesting thing about this movie is that it uses the famous children's character SpongeBob SquarePants as one of the ways to terrorize. Director Jacob Chase mentioned in an interview that he got the idea of using the figure of the sea sponge after talking to his wife, who works with autistic children, and she revealed how episodes of the cartoon are essential for those people. The feature is an adaptation of a short film with the same name released in 2017, and has an interesting premise blending psychological terror with the supernatural and the virtual world."
