"This is Manolo Caro's second work as a director (‘No sé si cortarme las venas o dejármelas largas’). ‘Amor de mis amores’ is a romantic comedy that, for better or worse, has the characteristics that marked the director's previous movie and which would eventually define his later filmography, from urban landscapes and love entanglements— without falling into melodrama—to witty dialogue and privileged characters that are not really deep. However, it is a movie that, while it does not innovate, is much better achieved than typical proposals of its genre."
