Young revolutionaries battle for democracy in the streets of Kinshasa
Trailer
Why watch the movie Kinshasa Makambo?
""Kinshasa Makambo" is a film by Congolese director Dieudo Hamadi about three young activists and their different ways of trying to bring democracy to a country that has never witnessed a peaceful transition of power. The documentary emanates a political power that shines through the screen with Hamadi's brilliant command. With a mix of idealism and pragmatism, it brings a precise look at people who go after their ideas regardless of the governmental situation they are in. Resistance is the people's greatest and best weapon. Without a doubt, a production that makes us reflect on the Republic of Congo and also on Brazil."
