The enchantment works and they begin a romance, but soon she discovers that the man of her dreams has a dark and dangerous past. This is a movie that bets heavily on the relationship between the two protagonists, with the chemistry between them being at the core of the film - which makes it all very interesting to follow. It's also interesting to see another cultural perspective on horror, as the Mexican production automatically brings the country's identity into the movie.
