Gabriel, knocking 40, receives the proposal of having a child with his best friend. With a long history of failures and a city that seems against him, he decides to become a better person and reconcile with life and the cosmos.
"Gabriel (Gabriel Nuncio) is a depressed, cynical comedian with no money or prospects for the future. Even in his circle of friends he ends up pushing away the closest people. His relationship follows the same fate as his professional life. Despite this, his girlfriend (Cassandra Ciangherotti) believes they were predestined and therefore insists on them. Amid this, his best friend Melissa (Adriana Paz) asks for his help to be the father of her child. Since he does not see projections of improvement in his life, Gabriel seeks to rebuild and put back on track everything that went wrong. 'El Comediante' has strong influences from 'The King of Comedy', by Martin Scorsese, 'The Comedy', by Rick Alverson, and for those who have not seen these two, another reference is 'Joker' by Todd Phillips."
