Why watch the movie Deep Water?
"Deep Water is an erotic suspense that flirts with the films produced in the 1980s and 1990s, because the director Adrian Lyne is the same as 'Fatal Attraction' (1987) and 'Indecent Proposal' (1993). In the plot, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas play the couple Vic and Melinda Van Allen, whose marriage is crumbling due to jealousy and distrust. The situation ends up becoming deadly when Melinda's lovers start to disappear. At this point, the narrative finds a bit of the atmosphere of 'Gone Girl' (2014), being a thriller and Ben Affleck's performance. If you are in the mood for a movie in this vein, with a more retro and well-produced look, 'Deep Water' is a great recommendation."
