Why watch the movie Echoes of a Crime?
"Movies about home invasion are a classic of horror cinema. The fear of someone invading your life, your privacy, and your home is natural and, when well orchestrated with scary villains, yields assertive films. 'Ecos de un crimen' follows exactly this path by telling the story of a writer and his family who find themselves in danger during a stormy night. With Julieta Cardinali ('Carta a Eva'), Diego Peretti ('The Robbery of the Century') and a good Argentine cast, 'Ecos de un crimen' knows how to play with the audience's emotions, despite some difficulties of director Cristian Bernard to differentiate himself from other films of the genre. It is not a 'Panic Room' or 'The Strangers'. But you can have fun, be scared and pass the time."
