Trailer
Why watch the movie The Desperate Hour?
"An intense thriller that unfolds in real time, about a woman (Naomi Watts) who, while running through the forest miles away from the city, receives terrible news: there is a shooting at the school and her son may be involved - so she must return as quickly as possible, on foot. Even if the development leaves something to be desired, the premise and execution are very interesting, as the tension is kept by being told in real time. In addition, obviously, this is one of those long films shot with minimal cast and budget during the pandemic, so the story is carried by Watts' powerful and vulnerable performance."
