The summer before college Auden meets the mysterious Eli, a fellow insomniac. While the seaside town of Colby sleeps, the two embark on a nightly quest to help Auden experience the fun, carefree teen life she never knew she wanted.
"Adaptation of the book written by Sarah Dessen, 'Along for the Ride' tells the story of Auden (Emma Pasarow) and Eli (Belmont Cameli). They spend their summer vacation together before heading off to college and end up learning a lot from each other - and making great discoveries as well. The narrative is one of those enjoyable ones that make you believe in human connections and love. The cast features familiar faces such as Andie MacDowell from 'Groundhog Day', Dermot Mulroney from 'My Best Friend's Wedding' and Kate Bosworth from '21'. Directed and written by Sofia Alvarez, who also wrote the first two films of the 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' trilogy. This is the first time Alvarez takes on the role of director and she did an amazing job."
