That's how we could begin to describe "A November to Remember" (formerly known as "Super November"), the feature film debut of director Douglas King written and starring comedian Josie Long, an independent film with grand political ambitions. The story takes place in the midst of a political crisis in Scotland, while a librarian (Long) meets what could be the love of her life. When things get complicated in the country, the lovers try to move forward despite the dystopia unfolding around them. A movie that, despite its limitations, proposes a smart story about the rise of fascism and the far-right, without losing its sense of humor."
