"Although The Devil's Elevator is a movie that lacks originality and can be confusing at times, seasoned with various genre clichés: the creepy atmosphere in the middle of an abandoned place makes it terrifying to generate fear in the viewer. Likewise, its Vietnamese origin protagonists manage to have enough dramatic weight for the film to maintain the darkness that it intends throughout its 80 minutes of duration."
