Niagara

"Marilyn Monroe's big break came with two films. The first was 'Niagara', an unusual Technicolor film noir in which the actress plays a role that would become increasingly rare in her career: that of a calculating femme fatale. Monroe is Rose, a woman who, despite being on her honeymoon, is fed up with her relationship with a psychologically tormented war veteran, so she plans to kill him. However, the plan gets complicated when another honeymooning couple shows up and suspects her intentions. A curious fact, Andy Warhol's iconic work, Diptych of Marilyn, is based on a promotional photograph of this film."
