Three kids must steal a witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.
Trailer
Why watch the movie Hocus Pocus?
"Released in 1993, Hocus Pocus was initially met with tepid reception from both audiences and critics alike. The story follows three witch sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) who are brought back to life by a teenage boy's mistake on Halloween night, who must then spend the evening trying to make sure their return is not permanent. Over time, however, the film has achieved cult status among those who grew up with it, captivated by its camp aesthetic and wild performances (Midler in particular is fantastic). It may not offer much for adult audiences, but children will have an absolute blast."
