Why watch the movie The Joys and Sorrows of Young Yuguo?
"A short documentary that tells the story of a dreamy teenager on a pilgrimage from China to Romania. The most special thing about his journey is that his boundless love for European culture reminded the natives he met along the way of the most valuable and special parts of their own land. 'The Joys and Sorrows of Young Yuguo' is a sign that cultural borders and barriers are thin veils and very easy to circumvent."
