Why watch the movie Embrace of the Serpent?
"Visually spectacular - using the contrast of black and white to reveal the details of the forest -, 'The Embrace of the Serpent' is a critique of the relationship between colonizers and natives in South America. The movie is lengthy, but for whoever gives their full attention to the story, it rewards with a series of reflections."
