In response to a global rise in demonic possessions, the Catholic Church reopens exorcism schools to train priests in the Rite of Exorcism. On this spiritual battlefield, an unlikely warrior rises: a young nun, Sister Ann. Thrust onto the spiritual frontline with fellow student Father Dante, Sister Ann finds herself in a battle for the soul of a young girl and soon realizes the Devil has her right where he wants her.
"The subgenre of exorcisms and demonic possessions is a great favorite for horror fans. But within its immense repertoire, it is complicated to find cases where it is nuns who face the Devil himself, instead of veteran priests. In that sense, there will be those who appreciate fresh proposals from 2022 such as Adrián García Bogliano's Mexican film "The Exorcist" and German Daniel Stamm's "The Light of the Devil", who conceived "The Last Exorcism" over ten years ago, a terrifying mockumentary that was awarded multiple recognitions in different festivals, including the Toronto After Dark Film Festival."
