Scream VI

"When 'Scream V' came to theaters, many people raised their eyebrows - they believed the legacy of Wes Craven with the franchise would be left in the original footage and there wouldn't be any good ideas to take advantage of. However, that wasn't the case: the movie got a good box office turnout and also pleased most of the specialized critics. Now, 'Scream VI' comes with this need to be "more": more violent, more intense, more exciting. More of everything. And it is precisely on this need, in addition to all the idiosincrasies of a "requel", which the film is based on. Obviously the previous one is more creative, fresh and original, but this sixth chapter still manages to entertain. The difference lies in the Scream style, which not only is in an unrecognizable New York (the weak point of the movie), but is also more violent. It uses weapons at one moment, gives violent blows with a machete. All this to tell, once again, the story of Sam (Melissa Barrera) and Tara (Jenna Ortega), who try to survive after the first attacks suffered in the small Woodsboro. And in the end, it's exactly what the audience wants: more, more and more. It may sound exaggerated, but that's the essence and soul of Scream, which works so well since the 90s. And between us, I'm already ready for 'Scream VII'."
