Why watch the movie Tigers Are Not Afraid?
"This film from Mexican director Issa López will remind you of Guillermo del Toro's cinema, for its particular syncretism between unreal magic and the cruel truths of reality. 'Vuelven' has an authentic and lamentable social background, the violence of drug trafficking that has taken so many lives in Mexico. However, the movie takes advantage of imagination and fantasy to address this problem and offer a light of hope. Without a doubt, it is one of the most powerful proposals in Mexican genre cinema in recent years."
