Why watch the movie Bank of Dave?
"Inspired by the true story of Dave Fishwick, a local Burnley entrepreneur who fought against the London financial elite to obtain government authorization, for the first time in 150 years, to create a new local bank aimed at helping other small business owners grow. Starring Rory Kinnear (from "Men"), Phoebe Dynevor (from "Bridgerton"), and Joel Fry (from "Yesterday"), "Bank of Dave" is, as its title suggests, an inspiring "David vs. Goliath" story that, while taking some liberties with the facts, reminds us that it's possible to find alternative solutions to the sometimes rigid, restrictive, and even oppressive methods of the establishment."
