Why watch the movie Killer Book Club?
"Based on the namesake novel, Killer Book Club is a Netflix exclusive slasher horror that could be described as a mix between two other genre classics: Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The story follows a group of college students who meet up every week in a book club to share their passion for horror. However, one day they play a costume prank that ends in an accidental death and they decide to cover it up. Suddenly, an anonymous writer appears threatening to reveal the secret in a novel based on them...where each one will die as the story progresses. Without reinventing the wheel, this is a well-executed slasher that will satisfy fans of this horror subgenre."
