However, one day they play a costume prank that ends in an accidental death and they decide to cover it up. Suddenly, an anonymous writer appears threatening to reveal the secret in a novel based on them...where each one will die as the story progresses. Without reinventing the wheel, this is a well-executed slasher that will satisfy fans of this horror subgenre."
