The story follows a group of teenagers who become immersed in the brutal and perverse reality of their town after discovering a corpse floating in a river. Awarded at the 2023 Morelia Film Festival for its screenplay, the film is an effective adaptation that manages to bring the vital elements of the novel to the screen. Even if it doesn't quite capture the magnitude of the literary work, it stands out as a distinct piece of art."
