New York sportswriter Mack has spent years devising successful hook-up “plays” with her friends, but when she unexpectedly falls for one of her targets, she must learn what it takes to go from simply scoring to playing for keeps.
"Players is a movie that doesn't bring many surprises for those who follow the romantic comedies released by Netflix: there are opposites attract couples, unexpected loves, and so on. The charm here lies in Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), the protagonist who devises a whole plan to conquer the man she thinks is the love of her life. Although it has a tiresome story, with an excess of plans and ideas that don't make sense, Players ends up convincing due to the authenticity of its characters and, above all, Gina's good work – it's hard not to root for her success."
