Why watch the movie Call Bebel?
"Call Bebel is a charming, albeit naive Brazilian film that addresses diversity – in school, opinions, daily life, and family. Starring the talented Giulia Benite (from Turma da Mônica: Lições), the film tells the story of a wheelchair-bound girl who changes schools and, while trying to fit in, encounters bullying and prejudice. With an aesthetic reminiscent of children's soap operas on SBT, the film knows how to engage and communicate with young audiences, delivering some good messages, even about ecology."
