When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else's deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.
"Tarot is another horror film that, much like we've seen from Hellraiser to Talk to Me, deals with a cursed object that drastically changes the lives of those involved. Here, specifically, a group of college friends begins to die in ways related to luck after having their futures read in tarot cards. Directors Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg, newcomers to feature films, don't shy away from a more "trashy" look for the production, although the film's main reference still remains that fresher, youthful horror of the 2020s. There's absolutely nothing new or disruptive about it, but it ends up being one of those fun productions to watch in a group—and to get a few good scares."
