Why watch the movie Poolman?
"Directorial feature debut of Chris Pine (Star Trek), Poolman is the story of a pool cleaner who inexplicably finds himself embroiled in an investigation that ties him to corrupt politicians and criminals in Los Angeles, revealing truths about his beloved hometown—and about himself. Despite great performances from a cast including Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, Jennifer Jason Leigh, DeWanda Wise, and John Ortiz, the film has been panned by critics, and not without reason: the script is somewhat chaotic and inconsistent in tone, but Pine manages to make something fun out of the movie. A potential cult classic."
