Why watch the movie Uglies?
"Uglies is the highly anticipated film inspired by the book of the same name, part of a globally successful saga written by Scott Westerfeld. The story is set in a dystopian world where cosmetic surgeries are performed on everyone at 16 to make them "perfect." Directed by McG, known for gems like The Babysitter and Charlie's Angels, the movie blends sci-fi with action—like a new Hunger Games. Joey King, the lead actress, steps out of her comfort zone in what is Netflix’s first solid attempt at building its own teen franchise."
