Why watch the movie Music by John Williams?
"Directors like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Richard Donner created films that transformed cinema, but it was a musician, John Williams, who first transformed those movies with his melodies in the first place. Music by John Williams is a documentary that honors the creator of themes that made us believe a man could fly, that dinosaurs exist, and that good and evil battle in a galaxy far, far away. Will it tell you anything new about the legendary composer? Not really. However, it is an emotional tribute to a lifetime of music that has been pivotal to the history of film, featuring touching testimonials from filmmakers like Spielberg and J.J. Abrams to cap it off.""
