Why watch the movie Beatles '64?
"Beatles '64 is a production that adds to the enormous list of films about The Beatles, still considered one of the most influential bands in the history of music. However, it focuses on the peak of the so-called "Beatlemania": the year 1964, examining the impact of their first visit to the United States, effectively becoming a global sensation. Is this something that isn't already known? Not at all. However, there are some surprises: the documentary compiles restored 4K archival footage, originally filmed for the 1964 documentary What's Happening! The Beatles in the U.S.A. Additionally, it includes new interviews with the surviving band members themselves, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, among other musicians and personalities. It doesn't bring anything new to Beatles fans and yet, it's absolutely thrilling to watch, as it captures an unrepeatable moment in popular culture, with the enormous charisma that the band conveyed in front of the camera."
