On the isle of Berk, Vikings and dragons have battled for generations, but that won't stop Hiccup from building an unlikely bond with the feared dragon, Toothless. With an ancient evil threatening their worlds, it's up to Hiccup, Toothless, and their courageous companion Astrid to prove they're stronger together, and through friendship and bravery they can overcome any challenges.

"How to Train Your Dragon is the live-action remake of the 2010 animated classic of the same name, and to be honest, it’s almost the same movie with very small differences. The story is identical: Hiccup (played by The Black Phone's Mason Thames) is the physically inept son of Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, reprising his role from the animated version), the leader of an island of Vikings who view dragons as eternal enemies. When Hiccup manages, through his ingenuity, to capture a dangerous Night Fury dragon and befriend it, he begins to understand more about dragons and challenge his people’s notions about them. It remains a lovely story about the power of curiosity, understanding, and acceptance, which can be introduced to a new generation, even though, being so similar to the original, it seems to serve no greater purpose than to produce a low-risk, high-grossing film with little creativity."
