Why watch the movie Kill the Jockey?
"Kill the Jockey (El Jockey) is an acidic Argentine comedy by director Luis Ortega (El Ángel), about Remo (Nahuel Pérez Biscayart), a talented jockey whose talent is overshadowed by his self-destructive spiral. He is in love with Abril (Úrsula Corberó, Money Heist), another rider who is expecting his baby, but she must choose between motherhood or continuing to race. With very unique humor and meticulous direction, Ortega delivers one of the best comedies of 2024, about the search for purpose and how, many times, one has to hit rock bottom (in the worst possible sense) to find it."
