Why watch the movie The Bélier Family?
"The Bélier Family is a French film that gained much more recognition in 2022 when its American remake, CODA, won the Oscar for Best Picture. However, it’s still worth giving this honest, moving, and original French version a chance. It tells the story of a teenage girl, the daughter of deaf parents, who discovers she has a gift for singing. The film captivates with its simplicity and even manages to draw a few tears in its final minutes, with scenes that skillfully touch the heart and stir the audience's emotions."
