The newest chapter in New Line Cinema's bloody successful franchise takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death's twisted sense of justice—Final Destination: Bloodlines. Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefani heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.
"Final Destination Bloodlines is the sixth installment in the supernatural horror saga, known for its clever — and brutal — ways in which characters face seemingly inevitable deaths they desperately try to escape. This time, the story follows Stefani Reyes (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), a young woman who inherits premonitory powers that warn her of the imminent deaths of her family, and she fights for answers to stop them. There’s nothing particularly new compared to past entries in the franchise, except perhaps a deeper script that keeps things interesting. However, the main attraction remains the on-screen executions, as creative, violent, and absurd as ever — the signature touch hasn’t been lost. A very competent and entertaining entry in the Final Destination saga that also gives a fitting farewell to Tony Todd as the character William Bludworth."
