Trailer
Why watch the movie Traço Livre: O Quadrinho Independente no Brasil?
"The documentary, presented by actor and comic book artist Felipe Folgosi, analyzes the comic book scene in Brazil, interviewing writers, artists, publishers, etc. One of the themes is precisely the growth of the national market, which has had a profusion of titles and formats in recent years - despite the current Brazilian crisis, which also claims victims in the publishing market. Among the critics of the film, the main argument is that women are not present in the promotional material - even though they are, albeit modestly, among the interviewees. In the end, it remains a reflection of what is happening inside the comic book market."
