Why watch the movie Star Trek?
"The reboot of the 'Star Trek' franchise, directed by J.J. Abrams. With new cast, the movie combines elements that made the franchise a success with a faster-paced and action-packed storyline. Another positive point is that this reboot is not one of those that simply ignores what happened before, but uses the original timeline as a starting point for a new story. A great starting point for those who have never seen anything from 'Star Trek' before."
