Why watch the movie Queen of Spades?
"The story around the opera is just a pretext for the audiovisual exhibition of 'Dama de Espadas', a Russian story that originated the play of the same name, which in turn is the basis of this film. An exciting thriller with very plastic scenes, which has received great recognition in its country of origin, including nominations in the categories of Best Actor and Best Actress at the Golden Eagle Awards."
