Why watch the movie Halloween?
"Forget all the other movies in the franchise: this is a direct sequel to the 1978 classic 'Halloween' directed by horror master John Carpenter. Ignoring all the stories told in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, this new movie brings back Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, who survived the events of 78 and, suffering from PTSD, seeks revenge against killer Michael Myers. Showing respect towards Carpenter's work, director David Gordon Green does a competent job and is highly praised by critics."
