"A proposito di Max" (About Max) is a documentary produced by Sky made by Simone Del Vecchio, Miranda Bevilacqua and Gabriele Acerbo about the Italian film director Max Croci who passed away in 2018. The documentary goes through Max career as a film director, from his very first works like Rosso Tigre (1996) and Marameo (2000), to his last works like Poli Opposti (2015). It depicts his passion for the classic cinema and how this passion developed from his childhood. It also shows how being raised by his mother and his grandmother and seeing notable actors like Cary Grant on the screen when he was a child morphed the vision he had about the cinema as a whole and his own personal way of making movies, giving his own touch to each and every movie release.
