Why watch the movie Distorted?
"Do you remember Wednesday Addams from "The Addams Family"? She's grown up now! Christina Ricci plays a woman living in a gated community with an advanced security camera system - which she begins to believe is being used to control the residents. It's a story that echoes the spirit of our times, especially in Brazil, where many live locked in gated communities with fences, electric fences, cameras, and monitoring. The cast also includes John Cusack (Golden Globe-nominated for "High Fidelity"). Although the script lacks the depth that the basic premise of the story requires, Christina turns in a great performance."
