Why watch the movie Stories Our Cinema Did (Not) Tell?
"The porn-comedies of their time were more than just soft-core movies. They were also portraits of society, as well as social and political critiques. That's why this documentary, directed by Fernanda Pessoa, cuts up pieces from films of that era in a very interesting montage. The result is not only a social and political critique, but a preservation of an important (and undervalued) moment of Brazilian cinema."
