Why watch the movie Let the Girls Play?
"Whoever thinks soccer is only for boys probably lives in the last century - and has never seen Marta dominating the fields. And it's precisely during this period (the last century) that "Como Meninos" takes place, which tells the story of a group of girls who form a soccer team in the 1960s, becoming the first of its kind in France. It's a story of self-overcoming, but also funny and very well told by director Julien Hallard - who makes his feature film debut."
