Why watch the movie The Price of Everything?
"This original HBO documentary dives into the world of art - not that of the dedicated artists, but rather of the commerce and consumerism within contemporary art, with its millionaire auctions and high speculation. More than for art lovers, this movie is also indicated for those interested in understanding the commodification of the modern world. Even though it doesn't bring great controversies or discoveries, director Nathaniel Kahn raises an important question: can art be a costly and elitist product?"
