Set in the future when the US economy is on the brink of yet another massive financial crisis, The Crash tells the story of Guy Clifton (Frank Grillo), a federally-indicted stock trader, who is secretly enlisted by the government to help thwart a cyber-attack aimed at the stock markets – an attack that could permanently cripple the world's economy.
"Starring action-B movie star Frank Grillo (also seen in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'), 'Conspiracy: Global Threat' ties together white collar crime, action, technology and suspense. In the story, financial criminals are called upon by the US government to prevent a cyber attack that could bring the country to bankruptcy. Unfortunately, the feature film does not quite hit all the expectations - though it does function as entertainment."
