Why watch the movie 15 August?
""August 15th" is another film within Netflix's strategy to expand its presence in the Indian market, one of the largest in the world and still with low adoption of the platform - as well as satisfying, of course, Bollywood movie fans around the world. The date August 15th represents India's independence day, a starting point for a story that reveals the harsh life of the middle class of that country. As some themes are global, we can draw some parallels with Brazil - albeit heavily seasoned with cinnamon, anise, pepper and cloves."
