"'Escape Room' is the teen version of the bloody horror franchise 'Saw', only taking advantage of the "escape rooms" that have become popular in the entertainment scene of major cities. The movie also bears some resemblance to 'The Happening', especially when the story reveals the connection between each of the participants. Director Adam Robitel captures the audience with intensity and suspense in a pure entertainment movie. Despite wavering with a script obsessed with surprising at each death, it still is a fun cinematic experience for horror fans."
