"Jennifer Lopez is the big selling point of 'A New Chance', a comedy about a 40-something woman who accumulates many frustrations in life and doesn't have the career she wants, but receives a second chance to be successful professionally (albeit from a lie). Unfortunately, the script gets lost in obvious situations and humor that isn't exactly funny. Still, the message of resilience is engaging and will surely have a positive effect on those going through similar situations and need a positive boost."
