Dying to Tell

"In 2012, award-winning documentary filmmaker Hernán Zin suffered an incident in Afghanistan that marked him for life. In search of answers, Zin interviews other journalists in an experience that plunges the audience into the depths of horror. Reorienting his desire to know the truth about what happened to him, 'A Vida Pela Notícia' handles testimonies carefully, avoiding fabrications or excessive compassion, finding a balance point between the victims of war, the journalists and their viewers. His thoughts throughout the filming are with the children, who inspire a particular rejection of war. You won't see the news again the same way."
