Although the movie falls far short of being as iconic as his best works, it does manage to provide a good dose of humor with a bit of schmaltz. The good chemistry between its protagonists, Emma Roberts ('American Horror Story') and Hayden Christensen (yes, Anakin Skywalker in 'Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones') in this new version of 'Romeo and Juliet' for the 21st century stands out."
