Political documentary and personal memoir collide in this exploration into the complex truth behind the unraveling of two Brazilian presidencies.

"Directed and narrated by Petra Costa (from 'Elena'), the documentary delves into the political crisis in Brazil that resulted in the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff in 2016. There is no clear intention to be impartial, since the film brings a personal vision of the director herself (who is the daughter of parents who fought against the military dictatorship), as well as the view of the streets and the news (in Brazil and abroad). All this illustrated by images that alternate a perspective in the middle of the crowds and facts, with a camera in hand, with beautiful sequences that reveal the beauty of the architecture of Brasilia. Closing it all off, we have a portrait of the political polarization that has been living in the country in recent years."
