Why watch the movie Unbanned: The Legend of AJ1?
"For many millennials, Air Jordan sneakers were an important part of childhood and adolescence: they were a coveted item. That's why for this audience, the documentary 'Uncensored: The Legend of AJ1' will be very, very nostalgic. But there is more to it, because from something apparently banal like a piece of footwear, first-time director Dexton Deboree builds a narrative perfectly balanced between the financial and social side of AJ1 shoes, backed by voices that consider them a cultural icon."
