"The French makeup and special effects wizard, Olivier Afonso ('Raw'), presents an 80s-set horror comedy. The filmmaker makes full use of blood and fake blood, decapitations, and jokes that border on the ridiculous. Very similar to the seductive 'Planet Terror' and the explosive 'Tomorrowland'. Although 'Girls with Balls' can't escape the typical sexism of the genre, it makes up for it with its exuberant photography."
